Why we built it

Invoicing should remember the work while you still do.

InvoiceQuickly was built on a simple observation: creating an invoice should take seconds, not minutes. Freelancers, consultants, and small business owners spend hours every month formatting documents, looking up tax rates, and chasing payments — time that should go toward the work they actually love.

The product is for people who finish work away from a desk and do not want to reconstruct it later in an invoice form. A short plain-language prompt is the fastest starting point, with voice available when useful, as long as every generated field remains visible and editable before the invoice is saved.

Our mission

We are building a focused prompt-first invoicing tool. Describe what you did, by typing or optional voice, then review the proposed client, line items, dates, tax, and terms, then save the invoice when it is correct.

Concretely: when a user enters “Invoice Acme Studio $2,500 for brand redesign, net 30”, InvoiceQuickly proposes a structured draft. It flags missing details instead of pretending certainty, and the user remains responsible for reviewing tax and legal requirements.

What we build

  • AI Invoice Drafts — Describe the work and get structured, editable fields; voice is optional.
  • Invoice Lifecycle — Keep sent, paid, and payment-history records tied to each invoice.
  • PDF Export — Download a professional invoice after reviewing the draft.
  • Payment Records — Record partial or full payments and keep the balance visible.
  • Free Tools — Use practical calculators and drafting helpers without signing up.

Our principles

Three ideas shape how we build:

  • Seconds, not minutes. Every feature is measured by how long it takes to finish the task. If a workflow adds friction, it gets redesigned. This is why a plain-language prompt is the default and voice remains available.
  • Honest positioning. InvoiceQuickly creates outbound invoices; it is not accounting, tax-filing, payroll, time-tracking, or full-ledger accounting software. It focuses on the work from estimate through paid invoice, and we say where that boundary sits before you sign up.
  • Your data stays yours. We don't sell customer data. We don't use invoice content to train public models. We encrypt everything in transit and at rest. Full terms on our privacy page.

Who we serve

The product is built for freelancers, consultants, photographers, contractors, and small agencies that need an invoice out while the work is still fresh. Browse the invoice template library for practical examples by trade and industry.

Trust and compliance

We use encrypted transport and protect sensitive provider credentials when those integrations are enabled. Invoice rules vary by jurisdiction, so customers should confirm the legally required fields and tax treatment using authoritative guidance from the IRS, HMRC, the European Commission VAT rules, and other jurisdictions.
