InvoiceQuickly was built on a simple observation: creating an invoice should take seconds, not minutes. Freelancers, consultants, and small business owners spend hours every month formatting documents, looking up tax rates, and chasing payments — time that should go toward the work they actually love.
We started in 2024 after watching a friend — a freelance photographer — spend Sunday evenings rebuilding invoice PDFs from a Word template, manually looking up VAT rates for EU clients, and emailing reminders to late payers. Every piece of that workflow already existed as a software problem. It just hadn't been solved end-to-end for people who don't run an accounting department. So we built it.
Our Mission
We are building the fastest, most accurate invoicing platform in the world. Our AI understands natural language descriptions of work and transforms them into professional, tax-compliant invoices in under 5 seconds. No forms, no templates to fill — just describe what you did.
Concretely: when a user types “Invoice Acme Studio $2,500 for brand redesign, net 30”, the AI maps that to a structured invoice — issuer details from the user's account, recipient inferred from the client list, line item parsed from the description, tax framework selected from the client's country, due date calculated from the payment terms — and returns a finished PDF. Most users get there before they've finished their coffee.

Our Principles
Three ideas shape how we build:
- Seconds, not minutes. Every feature is measured by how long it takes to finish the task. If a workflow adds friction, it gets redesigned. This is why we default to plain-language input instead of forms.
- Honest positioning. We publish comparison pages that recommend QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho when they're the better fit for your situation. You'll find those verdicts on our compare pages. The product team writes them, not an affiliate marketer.
- Your data stays yours. We don't sell customer data. We don't use invoice content to train public models. We encrypt everything in transit and at rest. Full terms on our privacy page.

The product is built for five concrete audiences, each of whom gets a dedicated page: freelancers who need an invoice out the door in minutes, consultants billing hourly or by retainer, photographers tracking session deposits and delivery invoicing, contractors juggling progress invoices across long projects, and agencies managing dozens of retainer clients. Finance teams use Autopilot separately for accounts payable automation.
Trust & Compliance
We follow security best practices expected of modern SaaS: AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, SOC 2 Type I compliance in progress, and GDPR + CCPA alignment. Invoice templates include the mandatory fields required by the IRS, HMRC, the European Commission VAT rules, and other jurisdictions.
